Federal Investigation Uncovers Child Labor Violations in Las Vegas

Las Vegas pizza restaurants owned by Bryz Guyz Inc. have been fined $277,414 for violating child labor laws. Federal investigators found that 28 children, aged 15 to 17, were working more hours than legally allowed and performing dangerous tasks, such as operating industrial pizza dough mixers. The violations occurred at 10 Blaze Pizza locations in Las Vegas and Henderson from June 2020 to June 2023. Despite Nevada's less restrictive state laws, federal laws take precedence. The company has since received training on child labor standards and must prevent anyone under 18 from operating pizza dough mixers.
