Vatican Reaffirms No Threat to Chinese Sovereignty

This gesture came during a high-level commemoration event in Rome, attended by Shanghai Bishop Joseph Shen Bin and Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin. The event marked the first time a mainland Chinese bishop participated in a Vatican public event as a keynote speaker.
