Orem Nightclub Raided for Alleged Underage Drinking

An Orem nightclub was raided and shut down by police on October 15, 2024, for allegedly allowing underage drinking. An alcohol enforcement officer from the Orem Police Department discovered that the new club was illegally serving alcohol to minors, leading to a search warrant and subsequent police raid. About 150 patrons were present during the raid, and the police seized all alcohol on-site. Around a dozen underage individuals, including a 15-year-old girl, were cited. A mother, who was present with her three children under the age of 21, was charged along with the bartender and club owner for various offenses related to underage drinking.

Trial Begins for Georgia Woman Accused of Killing Her Toddler

The trial of Leilani Simon, accused of killing her 20-month-old son Quinton Simon and dumping his body in a trash bin in Savannah, Georgia, began on Monday. Simon, who has pleaded not guilty, faces 19 charges including malice murder and felony murder. Quinton was reported missing on October 5, 2022, and after an extensive search, his remains were found in a landfill. In the opening statements, the prosecution alleged that Simon, who was using drugs at the time, killed her son and disposed of his body. The defense countered, arguing that the case is based on speculation and lacks hard evidence. Testimonies from key witnesses, including the first responding officer and Quinton’s babysitter, are expected throughout the trial.

Adams Reunites with Aaron Rodgers in New York After Green Bay Success
