A 22-year-old Arizona woman was arrested after leading Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) on an 11-mile pursuit on I-15 in Provo. The incident began when a trooper attempted to stop her for driving at night without headlights. Instead of pulling over, she continued driving at freeway speeds, passing four exits before stopping near Spanish Fork. She later claimed she didn’t hear the siren due to loud music and didn’t believe the trooper had a valid reason for the stop. She was booked into the Utah County Jail, facing infractions for traffic violations and a potential third-degree felony for failing to stop.
