Fatal Collision Between FrontRunner Train and Trespasser in Orem

A man in his 20s was struck and killed by a northbound UTA FrontRunner train at the 400 South crossing in Orem early Monday morning. The incident caused significant delays of 10 to 40 minutes for trains running between Vineyard and Roy. The man’s vehicle was found nearby, though his identity has not been publicly released. UTA kept passengers informed about the delays via updates on their X account, @RideUTA.

BYU Veteran Kody Epps Transfers to Western Kentucky After Injury

Following the 2024 season, 16 BYU football players entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Seven have finalized their transfer destinations, including Kody Epps to Western Kentucky, Jackson Bowers to Oregon State, and Aisea Moa to Michigan State, making him the first to join a Power Five program. Others, like Miles Davis and Jake Eichorn, will join Utah State, while Dallin Johnson and Prince Zombo head to Utah Tech. Nine players, such as Crew Wakley and Noah Lugo, are still exploring offers.
