Labor Department Proposes Rule to End Subminimum Wages for Disabled Workers

General Motors Faces $5 Billion in Charges Amid Chinese Market Struggles

General Motors (GM) is incurring over $5 billion in charges in the fourth quarter of 2024 to address poor performance in its Chinese joint ventures. The automaker plans to reduce the value of its equity stake by $2.6–$2.9 billion and take $2.7 billion in restructuring charges.
