Fatal Crash on Highway 6 Leaves One Dead and Several Injured

A three-car collision on Highway 6 near Diamond Fork Road in Utah County claimed the life of one person and injured several others on Saturday afternoon. The crash involved a black Kia Soul, a white Kia Sportage, and a white Kia Telluride, occurring during winter conditions. Officials report that the Kia Soul lost control, spun into westbound lanes, and was struck by the other vehicles. A passenger in the Soul, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Multiple people from all vehicles sustained injuries, with two listed as serious. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and drivers were advised to avoid the area during lane closures.

Luigi Mangione Likely to Waive Extradition to New York

Luigi Mangione, accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is expected to waive extradition from Pennsylvania to New York, where he faces charges of second-degree murder.
