SEC and Big Ten Expected to Dominate Expanded College Football Playoff

The College Football Playoff (CFP) expansion is set to be dominated by SEC and Big Ten teams, as shown by the latest AP Poll rankings, where the SEC holds six of the top seven spots. Major non-conference matchups like Texas's victory over Michigan and Tennessee's blowout of NC State bolster the SEC's standing. Projected automatic bids include Georgia (SEC), Ohio State (Big Ten), Miami (ACC), Iowa State (Big 12), and Texas State (Group of Five). Seven at-large selections will likely come from the SEC and Big Ten, leaving the ACC and Big 12 as potential one-bid leagues.
