Motorcyclist Killed in Collision at Provo Intersection

A motorcyclist died after a collision with a car at the intersection of 800 North and 500 West in Provo on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred around 6 a.m. as the motorcyclist, traveling southbound on 500 West, collided with a car turning left onto 800 North. The motorcyclist was transported to Utah Valley Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after. The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The intersection was closed for several hours but reopened by 9 a.m.
