Roberson’s attorney is making final appeals, seeking intervention from Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.

Despite ongoing discussions between U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Israel has yet to make a final decision on its response. The U.S. has considered supporting Israel through intelligence sharing or limited strikes but is more likely to issue sanctions against Iran instead. The scheduled meeting between Austin and Gallant in Washington has been postponed by Prime Minister Netanyahu, raising concerns about the timing of potential Israeli action.
