A civilian pilot eventually located the crash site near Tustumena Lake, where the plane was partially submerged in icy water. The Alaska Army National Guard deployed a Blackhawk medevac helicopter to rescue the three survivors, who were found on the aircraft’s wing. All survivors were taken to a hospital, and the cause of the crash remains unknown.

Columbia Student Files Lawsuit Against Trump Over Revoked Legal Status

Yunseo Chung, a 21-year-old Columbia University junior, is suing former President Donald Trump after her permanent legal status was revoked. Federal agents searched her apartment near Columbia University on March 13 but did not find her. Chung, who has lived in the U.S. since age 7, claims the government is using immigration enforcement to suppress political speech after she participated in pro-Palestinian protests. ICE agents also visited her parents' home and informed her of her revoked status. The Trump administration justifies its actions by citing concerns over foreign policy and antisemitism. The lawsuit argues that these actions violate free speech and could lead to Chung’s deportation.

BYU Guard Dawson Baker Ejected After Flagrant 2 Foul Against Wisconsin

BYU guard Dawson Baker was ejected from the second-round NCAA Tournament game against Wisconsin after committing a Flagrant 2 foul. While attempting to break through defenders, Baker elbowed an opponent below the belt, leading to an official review and immediate ejection. Flagrant 2 fouls result in automatic ejection but do not carry over to the next game, meaning Baker will be eligible for BYU's Sweet 16 matchup. Despite losing Baker, BYU managed to secure a victory over Wisconsin. Baker, an older college junior at approximately 24 or 25 years old, transferred from UC Irvine to BYU after a two-year mission in Guam.
