Jayden Parker Sever Arrested on Charges of Raping Dementia Patients

Jayden Parker Sever, the 20-year-old son of Heber City Police Chief Parker Sever, has been arrested on charges of attempted rape and object rape of dementia patients at Spring Gardens Senior Living. The crimes, which occurred between February 1 and March 6, 2024, were revealed when Jayden confessed to his father, who then alerted the Attorney General’s Office. The victims, who suffer from severe dementia, cannot participate in interviews. Jayden, fired in March for unrelated reasons, faces a waiver hearing on July 31.

Park Fire Becomes One of California’s Largest Wildfires in History

The Park Fire in Northern California has become the eighth largest wildfire in California’s history, burning over 307,000 acres and prompting widespread evacuations across four counties.
