Head-on Collision in Spanish Fork Canyon

A critical head-on crash occurred in Spanish Fork Canyon on U.S. Highway 6, resulting in one person being airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries. The incident occurred when a pickup truck traveling west crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a Mazda near Red Narrows. Utah Highway Patrol is investigating possible impairment as a factor in the crash. The accident, which happened around 5:39 p.m., led to the closure of the highway in both directions, with traffic resuming around 8 p.m.
