Robert Blake Molling Charged with $1.8 Million COVID Relief Fraud

Robert Blake Molling, a Utah County businessman, has been arrested and indicted by a federal grand jury for wire fraud, accused of fraudulently obtaining over $1.8 million in COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) funds. Between March 2020 and April 2022, Molling allegedly applied for EIDL funds for two companies, lying about his criminal history on his applications. He faces seven counts of wire fraud and made his initial court appearance on Tuesday.
