Groundbreaking of Utah Aviation Business Park in Spanish Fork

Spanish Fork, Utah, is set to witness the groundbreaking of the Utah Aviation Business Park, featuring over 25 hangars, some costing up to $5 million and spanning 54,000 square feet. Utah Aviation has invested tens of millions of dollars in building 51 hangars at the airport over six years. The new development aims to attract businesses to Spanish Fork, with many hangars already purchased or leased by private entities. Notable tenant FLT Academy plans to expand its fleet from 15 to 50 aircraft by 2027, facilitating pilot training. Hangars of various sizes and price ranges are still available for interested parties.

Fatal Bus Crash in Central Florida Claims Eight Lives

A tragic bus crash in central Florida has resulted in eight fatalities and left 38 others injured, with eight in critical condition. The bus, carrying about 53 farmworkers, collided with a truck on West Highway 40, veered off the road, and overturned. There is concern that the death toll may rise further. The truck driver is also hospitalized with serious injuries. The bus was a route to a nearby farm when the accident occurred.

Discovery of Raspberry: Serendipitous Finding in the Milky Way

A group of third through eighth grade students from Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Sandy, Utah, known as the "Shovel Bums," participate in weekly trips to monitor and preserve Native American rock art near Utah Lake. Led by teacher John McHugh, the students analyze the art, document any damage or vandalism, and share their findings with archaeologists. The club aims to instill in students a sense of reverence for art and nature while contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage.
