Exceeding Expectations: Xiaomi's SU7 Electric Car Sales Surpass Projections

Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun announced that sales of the company's first electric car, the SU7, have exceeded expectations, being 3-5 times higher than anticipated. The announcement was made during a livestream on Douyin, attracting over 34 million viewers. The SU7, with a design resembling Porsche and a price tag under $30,000 for the base model, has garnered attention in the competitive Chinese EV market. Xiaomi has accelerated deliveries of the standard version by 12 days and plans to focus primarily on the SU7 model.
