Israeli Forces Open Fire on U.N. Peacekeepers in Lebanon, Injuring Two
The United Nations peacekeeping mission (UNIFIL) reported that Israeli forces fired on several of its installations in southern Lebanon, wounding two peacekeepers. The incident occurred as tensions between Israel and Hezbollah escalate, with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducting military operations in the region. Israel has justified its actions, citing Hezbollah's presence near UNIFIL posts. Both the UN and several countries, including Ireland, Italy, and France, have condemned the attacks on UNIFIL. Israeli airstrikes and ground operations continue along the Blue Line, aiming to push Hezbollah forces and weapons away from the border, as the situation becomes increasingly dangerous.

49ers Secure 36-24 Victory Over Seahawks, Capitalize on Seattle's Turnovers
The San Francisco 49ers secured a crucial 36-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, thanks to capitalizing on three turnovers. The 49ers, who had previously blown double-digit second-half leads, held off a Seattle comeback attempt to tie both teams at 3-3 in the NFC West. Key plays included two touchdown receptions from George Kittle and a game-sealing 76-yard run by rookie running back Isaac Guerendo. Despite a strong showing from Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith (312 yards), his two interceptions, alongside a negated 52-yard touchdown to DK Metcalf, hurt Seattle's chances.
