U.S. Intercepts Russian and Chinese Bombers Near Alaska

The U.S. military intercepted Russian and Chinese bombers in international airspace near Alaska's coast. This unprecedented joint operation involved two Russian Tu-95s and two Chinese H-6s entering the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) but not U.S. airspace. The bombers were tracked and intercepted by U.S. F-16s and F-35s, and Canadian CF-18s. This marks the first instance of such a joint incursion.
